"They are ... a virtual folk orchestra": The Irish Echo

Our  Irish session at the Treehouse in Audubon is Thursday nights

Want to learn Irish music? We give music lessons

Traditional Irish music is alive and well and flourishing in South Jersey. We've been performing in the greater tri-state area for 30 years. Sure. It's only the two of us but you'll hear us play Celtic harp, fiddle, flute, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bodhran, tin whistle and bouzouki. And the singing!

So "Come Take the Byroads" and check out our web site and find out more about McDermott's Handy and use this site to find out what else is happening on the Irish folk music scene.

Did you know Ed McDermott? It's just about 30 years since Ed McDermott passed away at the age of 81. We're collecting stories about Ed McDermott from anyone who's got a good one to tell. We'd like to post them in an Ed McDermott memorial we've started here on our home page. Your remembrances of Ed McDermott and his music will be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail them to Kathy DeAngelo.
