How I Did It

The Windows application Music Time is used to enter the tunes. It costs more than ABC2WIN, but includes midi capabitites, which are used for other applications.

After the tune has been entered, the Print Screen key is pressed. This copies the screen image to the Windows clipboard. Paint Shop Pro 3 is then launched. The Edit menu is opened, and then Paste, As a New Image are clicked.

Paint Shop Pro 3's selection tool is then used to select only the area of the screen image containing the tune. The edit menu is opened, and then Copy is clicked. The Edit menu is again opened, and Paste, As a New Image are clicked. This produces the final image. The File menu is opened, and Save As is clicked. The GIF format is specified in the dialog box.
